Malik Beasley, Cade Cunningham help Pistons beat Lakers

Malik Beasley scored 21 points and Cade Cunningham added 20 points with 10 assists as the visiting Detroit Pistons turned defensive pressure into a 117-114 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday.Jaden Ivey scored 18 points and Tim Hardaway Jr. added 15 as the Pistons won consecutive games for the first time in more than a month and came out on top after scoring a season-best 133 points in a road victory over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.Detroit forced Los Angeles into 20 turnovers and scored 28 points off those miscues.LeBron James delivered a triple-double with 28 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Lakers saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. A Christie 3-pointer and four points from James, including a driving layup with 46.3 seconds remaining, got Los Angeles within one possession at 117-114.
