Meadows started the rally with a leadoff home run against Jared Shuster (1-3). Jace Jung added an RBI single later in the inning before Torkelson, celebrating his 25th birthday, greeted Justin Anderson with a three-run blast to center field.Eight Tigers starters had a hit. Colt Keith and Jung both had two hits and an RBI.Dominic Fletcher and Brooks Baldwin contributed two hits apiece for Chicago.
